The word "photography" comes via the French photographie which is based on the Greek words φως phos ("light"), and γραφή graphê (“something that has been written/recorded” or "representation by means of lines" or "drawing"), together meaning "drawing with light."

For the last 32 years I’ve been enamoured with photography and how the combination of light, the right props and people can create and capture the essence and beauty of the moment. I’ve spent endless hours under the red lamp of the darkroom, playing around with burning and dodging prints, learning how to and developing black and white film.

For the past 10 years I have been geographically focused on Southern Europe and New England, photographing primarily portraits and weddings. In addition, I have worked with many aspiring as well as working models in developing their portfolios; many of my images can be found in their portfolios from Maggie’s on Newbury street to Gilla Roos in NYC.

My images have been published in various magazines including The Knot, Martha’s Vineyard Wedding, Island Weddings and Celebrations, Modern Salon and on various on-line venues. My list of commercial clients ranges from Engineering firms in Europe to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

My work has been exhibited in galleries in Southern Europe and Massachusetts.
